Investigation into Misconduct at the Canal Corporation

The New York State Thruway Authority’s Office of Audit and Management Services referred to the Inspector General two complaints alleging that Canal Corporation employees engaged in improper conduct at two worksite locations where employees are permitted to stay overnight. The Inspector General found that Wesley Wright misused Canal Corporation residences at Delta Reservoir and North Lake Reservoir, and that Jason Watson misused a vessel docked at the Lysander maintenance facility.
